BELIEBERS!! ‘First you wanna go to the left then you wanna turn right…’

After the release of his #1 hit ‘What Do You Mean’ in 2015 quickly followed by the award-winning platinum album ‘Purpose’, Bieber’s eagerly awaited tour finally hit the UK in September 2016 with THREE sold out dates at The SSE Hydro.

One of the hottest gigs of the year, and probably since the Hydro opened, the Beliebers were out in force; 100s of teenage fans, Glasgow girls in their finest, the odd one or two lookalikes.

The stage covered most of The SSE Hydro floor and production seemed to have enough pyro to start a 5th November firework display… and then there was the giant overhead trampoline, summersaults, flips and cartwheels above the audience? Sure, why not.

It all kicked off with the energetic Mark My Words and Where Are U Now followed by an acoustic rendition of Love Yourself complete with Bieber guitar skills.  It wasn’t until the favourite ‘Boyfriend’ that the crowd erupted, showing the young Canadian why Glasgow really does have THE BEST FANS IN THE WORLD!

Ending the show with four big hits, What Do You Mean, Baby, Purpose and Sorry, it’s fair to say everyone left a true BELIEBER.  We’ll miss you and your tartan trews Justin!
