The Can’t Feel My Face singer touched down at The SSE Hydro with a kaleidoscopic shapeshifting SPACESHIP stage to perform a setlist of 25+ songs.  Canadian singer Abel Tesfaye, or The Weeknd to his legions of adoring fans brought his Starboy: Legend of the Fall tour to Glasgow for a massive party.

Opening with hits All I Know and Party Monster, no one could argue with his insanely impressive singing talent.  The R&B hitmaker continued with the Fifty Shades of Grey soundtrack Earned It and Daft Punk collaboration I Feel It Coming.  With the ever-changing stage, top light show and incredible instrumentals, he took the Glasgow crowds on an emotional rollercoaster of hits.

At only 27, his career is one of a kind.  He released his debut three mixtapes with no label involvement, held the Spotify record for the most streamed album (29 million plays for Starboy, until Ed Sheeran recently overtook him) and has dated the odd Victoria’s Secret model – in short, he knows how to shake things up and is doing it with style.

Closing the gig with album favourites False Alarm, Glass Table Girls and The Hills, he belted out every lyric in true Friday-night-out fashion.
