The Scottish Event Campus (SEC) features the SEC Centre - five interconnected exhibition and meeting spaces, the iconic 3,000 seat SEC Armadillo and our most recent addition, The SSE Hydro – a 13,000 capacity concert, sporting and special events arena.  With its infinite flexibility, the campus has gone from strength to strength and, with planned expansion and development, will continue to position Glasgow on the world stage.  

SEC Armadillo

Designed by world-renowned architects Foster + Partners, the SEC Armadillo is a Glasgow landmark with a unique style and practical, comfortable facilities for up to 3,000.

SEC Centre

SEC Centre offers five interconnected exhibition and event halls with a combined area of over 22,000sqm.    

SSE Hydro

A truly iconic structure, the 13,000 capacity SSE Hydro is Scotland’s home of live entertainment and is consistently ranked by Pollstar in the top three arenas globally.

MARCH MUSIC ROUND-UP

The man of the moment Ed Sheeran is going to be HERE on 16 and 17 April!  He currently has 9 songs in the Top 10 and ‘Shape of You’ has topped the Hot 100 for the 10th week in a row…! It’s going to be an Easter weekend for the books.

Sir Elton John celebrated his 70th birthday last week - he played the Hydro last year and we’d have him back in a second.  It was an all-star cast; Stevie Wonder and Lady Gaga performed, Prince Harry turned up and stars such as Katy Perry, Sharon Osbourne and James Corden were there to party.

As Celine Dion celebrated her 49th birthday by releasing a series of old pictures, we announced that she’s coming to The SSE Hydro! Her first Glasgow date in 20 years has rocked our social media channels.  Tickets on sale 9am, Friday 7 April.  

Drake dropped his new album ‘More Life’ which is currently on its second week at No. 1 - Champagne Papi was a March highlight with a production of epic proportions.  While we’re on the topic of Drake, whose real name is slightly more interesting, as is The Weeknd’s, we thought we’d put together a list of real celeb names for you to check out:
