Travelling by Train
If you are travelling by train, disembark at the Exhibition Centre station where a lift can take you to street level. A covered walkway connects the station to The SSE Hydro. The West entrance to The SSE Hydro is on the left as you exit the walkway.
The main car park is the multi-storey at 10 Stobcross Road, G3 8YW, which is operated by City Parking LLP. A map and directions are here.
Onsite pay machines are on the ground floor, or level 2 (walkway level) of the car park.
Payment can be made by cash or credit/debit card on arrival or before departure.
Tariff Rates in the multi-storey Monday to Sunday are:
- Up to 1 hour £4
- 2-12 hours £8
- 13 hours £12
- 14-24 Hours £16

The multistorey has a height restriction of 1.9m. Drivers with vehicles over 1.9m should report to the Gatehouse to the west of the Scottish Event Campus (access from Stobcross Road) in the first instance and you will be directed to an available space.
Please note that residential parking cannot be accommodated at the SEC.
If you have your own wheelchair and wish to bring it to an event you’re welcome to do so. The venue do have a small number of wheelchairs available to borrow, but these are available on a first-come, first-served basis*.
Please note that wheelchairs can only be borrowed for one event day at a time. Collection and drop off is at the following points:
- SEC Centre – cloakroom on the main concourse
- SEC Armadillo – from stewards in the ground floor lobby
- The SSE Hydro – the Information Desk across from main entrance
**Please note: Requests must be made 48 hours in advance of your event. If the request is not made within that time, it will be subject to availability on the day of your event.
To advise us of your intention to borrow a wheelchair in advance of your visit, please fill in the form below with as much detail as possible.
There are a number of accessible toilets on the ground floor and Level 2 of the venue. Radar keys for accessible toilets are available from stewards, or may be purchased from the Information Desk.
The SEC welcomes visitors with assistance dogs. We would ask that assistance dogs are clearly identifiable around the campus. Facilities are available for assistance dogs on request.
The Box Office has an induction loop system.
An infrared loop system is available in blocks 204, 205, 206, 213, 214 & 215 on Level 2, but operation is dependent on each individual event or performance so provision can vary. For more information about the availability of the infrared loop system in the venue please email [email protected].
Infrared receivers are available to borrow from the Information Desk on the ground floor.
